Beginner Moves

FOLLOW MOVES:
â™› Belt - In a cut or comb, curl over in the direction that the commander says.
â™› Elastic Belt - Belt infinitely until told to exit.
â™› Cod - Waterfall and cross onto the dye when the leaders pass the end of the line.
â™› Cut - Turn off the rail to the other side or in said direction.
â™› Deck - 2 lines are in rein/waterfall: on the first go leads circle away, and when the lines meet at the end of the circles they merge into 1 line.
â™› Dye - A cut at a letter to the opposite letter.
â™› Dye Divide - When cutting mid lines split at the centre onto the dyes.
â™› Diamond - 1st go: Dye Divide, 2nd go: Cut back to mid on a slant. Merge when you meet.
â™› Merge - Merge into a line post-split. (i.e turn earlier than you think you should/adjust gaps)
â™› Pass - When in post-split on the wall evens will pass to the inside & odds will pass on the outside, when on mid both lines will pass on the right of each other. When on a dye, the odd line lead will pass first then after the even lead will, and so on.
â™› Pyramid - Post Split, lines will dye. They will form a triangle shape by turning to the letter where the opposing line dyed. Odds will always pass on the outside.
â™› Rebound - Dye Divide to the letters behind you.
â™› Reflect - Two lines on the dye coming towards each other cut in opposite directions at mid.
â™› Rein - On the go, leads cut away from rail/direction they came from to be side by side with opposing numbers.
â™› Split - On go or at the rail, odds will turn one way even will turn the opposite way.
â™› Tier - Both leads cut in direction said, resulting in a rein.
â™› Waterfall - Belt wave.


INDIVIDUAL MOVES

â™› Curl - A completed individual circle
â™› Curl-A - Canter curl
â™› C-Curl - Walk curl
â™› Wave - Odds curl one direction, evens curl in the opposite direction
â™› Bubble - Two curls in the same direction
â™› Bee Curl - Trot curl into canter curl. Transition one step before reaching original access.
â™› Wasp Curl - Canter curl into a trot curl.
â™› I-Curl - Walk curl into a trot curl.
â™› Orbit - Walk Curl into a Canter Curl. Do not trot.
â™› Q-Curl - Canter curl into a Walk curl. Do not trot.
â™› Triple Curl - Walk curl, trot curl, then canter curl
â™› Reverse Triple Curl - Canter curl, trot curl, walk curl
â™› Fate - Curl one way then curl the other right away after you complete the first curl.
â™› Twist - Fate Wave
â™› Thread - 1st go: Odds curl, 2nd go: Evens curl.
â™› Quilt - 1st go: Odds curl, 2nd go: Evens curl in the opposite direction.
â™› Curl Over - Half a curl
â™› Bear - Curl over but you return to the original axis on a slant line.
â™› Retreat Curl - Curl then curl over in the same direction
â™› Mist - Curl in the direction stated, curl over in the opposite.
â™› Boom - Curl over wave resulting in a reversed waterfall
â™› Fix - During a rein formation, curl over inside and merge.
â™› Dodge - Curl over direction called, curl over the opposite direction.
â™› Comb - An individual cut in said direction.
â™› Slide - Cut towards the leader in a comb.
â™› Curl Comb - A curl into a comb.
â™› Feather - Odds comb in the direction stated, evens comb in the opposite direction.
â™› Ink - Curl comb wave.
â™› Box Curl - Comb on the first go, Cut away from lead on the second go, and comb back to the rail/direction you came from on the third go, merge at the rail. All should be in the same direction.

Revolve - In a post-split comb: Curl over towards partner.
â™› Knot - In a post-split comb: Full curl towards your partner
â™› Buddy Comb - Odds comb and evens trot up to them and comb behind them.
â™› Slant - A 45-degree turn going on the slants in front of the rider.
â™› Back Slant - A 135-degree turn onto the diagonal lines going on slants behind the rider.
â™› Keyhole - ¾ of a curl, should end up in a comb.
â™› Key Curl - Curl in direction said, then keyhole in direction said immediately.
â™› Stitch - Keyhole wave
â™› Crossover - In waterfall: 1st go: Slant inwards, 2nd go: Slide to lead back into a rein/waterfall.
â™› X - On go, everyone will press X to halt instantly.


CIRCLE MOVES:
â™› Circle - Follow your leader as you form a circle.
â™› Cave - Curl towards the centre of the circle.
â™› Bloom - Curl away from the centre of the circle.
â™› Expand - In a circle, cut out on the first go and merge back into the circle on the second go. The circle will be larger after this move is completed.
â™› Shrink - In a circle, on the first go, everyone cuts towards the centre, and on the second go merges back into the circle. The circle will be smaller after this move is completed.
â™› Flower - Ones curl outside, twos curl inside


FLAT MOVES:

â™› Full Pivot - Full turn in place.
â™› Half Pivot - ½ turn in place.
â™› Quarter Pivot - ¼ of a turn in place.
â™› Tree pivot - 3/4 of a turn in place
â™› 45 pivot - Turn at a 45-degree angle
â™› Domino - Leader stops and everyone halts next to the person in front of them so that their horse’s back hooves are aligned with the person’s horse's front hooves.
â™› Arrow - Stop so your horse’s front hooves are aligned with the horse ahead of your back hooves.
â™› Flock - Stop so that your horse's back hooves are aligned with the horse behind yours' front hooves
â™› NTT Flat - Line leader stops and everyone lines up next to them.
â™› Bow Wave - 1 member at both endpoints will bow then the pattern continues
â™› Paper Plane - Only evens quarter pivot in the direction called, odds do not move.
